| Scope: | To take a standard skid steer & enable the loader to operate on radio remote control as well as manual control. Additionally, install the control systems to operate the water cannon; that is an attachment; via manual & remote control. |
Work Included:
- Design & supply of a radio remote control system with an ergonomic, light weight control unit.
- System design that meets Australian Standards.
- Manufacture & installation of the relevant electrical & hydraulic control systems.
- Complete set of electrical drawings & complete manual for spare parts.
- Instructions for the operation & maintenance of the new remote control system.
In Summary:
This project was the third for this client but the first on this model. The loader can be operated in manual mode exactly as the OEM intended however, with the flick of a switch, the loader is then operational via radio remote control at distances that are safe for line of sight operation. The system is fully proportional & in some cases easier to operate via remote control.
