Work Included
- Building, installing & testing a proto type which was installed & tested for a period a one year.
- Removal & modification of existing dash panel assemblies.
- Installation of main control system VTMS 200.
- Installation of main interconnecting harness.
- Installation of aerial system.
In Summary
A total of 80 vehicles were fitted with the VTMS 200 Data Logging & Monitoring system. The system is capable of monitoring & logging 22 parameters which include vehicle speed, engine RPM, & fuel usage. The vehicles presented many challenges because of its design & yet all of the criteria set out by the client were met. GM Mining Electrics won this contract which was tendered to all EU countries and we carried out the entire installation on time, on budget & to the highest of standards. We are still closely working with our client & are currently working on some requested upgrades.
